General Construction Projects
Access Control Point/Pedestrian Entrance, Arlington National Cemetery, VA
This project involves the installation of a new pedestrian gate and iron fence, removal of several existing shrubs, a new concrete pad, new ADA sidewalks and roadways to accommodate the new prefabricated guard booth at the 123 entrance of Arlington National Cemetery.
USDA – Fire Alarm Detection System Replacement-Beltsville, MD
This project involves the removal and replacement of the entire fire alarm and monitoring system in the National Agricultural Library in Beltsville, Maryland including system coordination, alarm panels, alarm appliances, conductor and conduit, including routing and placement, electric power supply and code compliance and full system verification. The National Agricultural Library is a fourteen-story secure reference facility for the preservation of both agriculture related documents and collections of environmentally sensitive agricultural products.
GSA – WNRC Suitland Fire Alarm-Suitland, MD
This project involves designing and furnishing an upgrade to the existing, analog/addressable fire alarm system. This entails all wiring and raceways for initiating devices, field devices and notification appliances requiring replacement, new main panel, and new smoke panels all compatible with existing devices to remain.
Cemetery Projects
USACE – Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO
This project involves the construction of a 5000 niche columbarium at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Columbarium construction built to NCA standards; irrigation system; plantings; care of water; NCA site furnishings, such as benches, vases and trash receptacles; concrete work; paving; storm sewer alterations and stone protection; electrical work; and masonry work.
VA – Baltimore National Cemetery Shrine Project – Raise, Realign Headstone, Marker and Turf Renovation Service, Baltimore, MD
This project involves constructing the headstone support system which includes clearing and grubbing vegetation, excavation and backfill, marker identification tagging, existing concrete demolition and disposal, marker handling, concrete foundation, precast concrete headstone support block, plastic grid marker support system, marker reinstallation, marker cleaning, turf renovation and restoration work.
VA – Sitka National Cemetery Grave Site Expansion, Sitka, AK
This project involves installing 50 in-ground cremains sites and 15 full caskets, a new entry feature and associated infrastructure.
VA – Keokuk National Cemetery, Keokuk, IA
This design-build project involves alternations to existing roads, walkways, signage, grading, drainage, low voltage electrical wiring, and landscaping to include expansion of the existing irrigation system.
General Construction Projects
NPS – Repair Repointing of Chatham Manor, Fredericksburg, VA (Completed 2018)
This project involved the removal of biological growth, brick replacement, repointing, stone patching, and selective reconstruction of Chatham Manor in order to restore the historical features. Project requires significant investigation into the existing conditions in order to best match the existing finishes and select products that match best.
Martin Bldg. 1110 Roof Replacement, Middle River, MD (Completed 2018)
This project involved replacing approximately 20,325 square feet of roofing on Facility 1110 and installed 3 new window systems. Replaced all damaged blocks at the south eastern building corner and retooled all affected mortar joints.
Smithsonian IDIQ, Washington, DC (Completed 2016)
This project was under a $4 million IDIQ that included the design, permitting, construction and approval process for desired construction projects for the Smithsonian Institute. These projects ranged from minor to medium scale task orders including the replacing of an exhaust fan, replacement of a fuel tank, radio towers, lighting improvements, paving for the 3,055′ of entry road, new floating dock, and abatement /demolition for existing occupied structures.

This project involved the renovation of over 28,000-SF of highly specialized BSL 2 and 3 research laboratory areas within an occupied, historic building. Significant demolition of interior spaces of partitions, ceilings, mechanical ducts, piping, equipment, and fixtures, electrical conduit and equipment was required.
